The needs here at Scheer are endless, and there are many opportunities for volunteers to come help out. Whether you are interested in coming long or short term, with a medical team, or as a doctor, teacher, or other health professional, Scheer Memorial Hospital is a place that can help you put your desire to serve others into action. Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
- Assisting at the school
- Medical training
- Biotechnology
- Physicians/surgeons/medical doctors
Volunteer outreach projects we facilitate:
- Cleft palate reconstructive surgery
- Uterine prolapse surgery
- Burn contracture surgery
- Ear surgery
- Community health education
Equipment Needs:
- X-ray machine
- Cell Counter for Laboratory
- Ultrasound machine
- Autoclave
